The Faculty of Biotechnology at Tan Tao University is a leading and pioneering training unit in providing high-quality human resources in the fields of life sciences and modern agriculture.
Training Orientation & Philosophy
The training programs at the Faculty of Biotechnology are built on a modern orientation, international integration, and development based on output-based education (OBE).
Core objective: To train experts, researchers, and engineers with a solid knowledge foundation, proficient professional skills, and outstanding professional qualities, ready to meet the breakthrough socio-economic development in the era of integration.
Training Programs
Currently, the Faculty of Biotechnology – Tan Tao University focuses on training two programs:
- Bachelor of Biotechnology: Equipping students with in-depth knowledge of gene technology, molecular biology, microbiology, and the application of biotechnology in medicine, environment, and industry. Students are trained in research and laboratory skills according to international standards.
- Agricultural Engineering (High-Tech Agriculture specialization): Focuses on applying advanced technological solutions (automation, agricultural biology, smart farming, precision agriculture) to optimize productivity, create clean, sustainable agricultural products, and adapt to climate change.
With a balanced combination of internationally standardized theory and practical experience, the Faculty of Biotechnology – Tan Tao University is the ideal destination for young people passionate about research, innovation, and wanting to create a green future for society.

By 2030, the School of Biotechnology will be "a high-quality human resource training institution that meets the demands of the labor market and a leading national unit in training, research, and technology transfer related to the field of Biotechnology and serving the community. Its training programs will be quality-accredited, and it will have extensive cooperation with domestic and international organizations."
