We are seeking applications for a faculty position for the School of Biotechnology
Type: Full time
Location: Tan Tao University
1. Job description
• Teaching in English (both theoretical and practical sections) 2 – 3 the courses
(Advanced Bioinformatics, Biological Data Science, Programming, and other related
courses) for undergraduate.
• Teaching time: Around 9 hours per week.
• Seeking for the research funding, conduct the research, and publish papers;
• Guiding and supervising students to do their thesis or internships.
• Office hours: Minimum 8 hours per week
2. Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and/or Data Science, or a closely related field;
• Having a strong research profile (Big data analytics/ Machine learning/ AI in
Biology) is preferred;
• Fluency in 4 skills of English;
• Having experience in convincing sponsors from organizations to win research grants
is preferred;
• Others shall be discussed during the interview.
