Concluding a series of academic activities and field surveys within the framework of HUSS Vietnam 2026, the Final Round and Award Ceremony of the HUSS 2026 International Hackathon took place at the Science, Technology and Innovation Center of Tay Ninh province. Throughout the program, Vietnamese and Korean students worked together in multinational teams, conducted field surveys at businesses, and developed ideas to address climate change, circular economy, renewable energy, and sustainable development. The projects were highly appreciated by the Judging Panel for their creativity, applicability, and practical value to the local area. Students from Tan Tao University have excellently won many awards at the competition:
01 Gold Award
Project on biodegradable agricultural mulch film from sugarcane bagasse, with the participation of Nguyen Dang My Giao (Faculty of Biotechnology) and Le Thi Doan Ngoc (Faculty of Information Technology).
02 Silver Awards
Projects on circular economy, optimizing agricultural value chains and byproduct processing technology, with the participation of Duong Cu Thoc (Faculty of Biotechnology) and Nguyen The Vinh (Faculty of Information Technology).
03 Bronze Awards
Projects on materials from corn byproducts, producing bioethanol from molasses and recycling old motorcycles to reduce emissions, with the participation of students Phan Thi Thuy Trang, Ngo Thi Tu Suong, Nguyen Thanh Bien, Nguyen Dang Thao Vy and Tu Huynh Minh Quang. These achievements are not only the result of effective research, innovation, and teamwork, but also demonstrate the international integration capacity of TTU students when studying, exchanging, and cooperating with Korean lecturers, experts, and students in a multicultural environment.
