Nguyen Thanh Dien, PhD

  • Dr. Nguyen Thanh Dien graduated in Environmental Technology in 2016 from Kyoto University, Japan. His doctoral thesis research focused on measuring and modeling persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in the air at a national scale. Dr. Dien spent 5 years as a researcher at the Environment Preservation Research Center. His current main research directions are (i) management of hazardous waste in urban areas, industrial zones and hospitals, (ii) measurement and treatment of organic and inorganic waste in air and wastewater, (iii) research on biological materials from agricultural by-products.
  • Dr. Dien will participate in teaching and research at the School of Biotechnology, Tan Tao University (TTU). In addition, Dr. Dien is also in charge of the Department of Science Management and International Cooperation at TTU.
