MSc. Tran Hoai Tam graduated with a Master’s degree in Biotechnology in 2019 from Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, focusing on the detection and monitoring of antibiotic resistance and ensuring biosafety. Currently, he is a PhD candidate at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, researching Microalgae-Microbe Systems for Sustainable Agriculture (MMSA), particularly in the field of aquaculture.
His main research areas include:
(i) Studying and evaluating the interaction between microalgae, microorganisms, and yeast within the same system;
(ii) Developing microalgae cultivation systems to produce biomass at low cost;
(iii) Researching the application of microalgae in the development of sustainable aquaculture.
(iv) Detecting and monitoring antibiotic resistance, contributing to biosafety and environmental safety.
